I think for a lot of people the issue isn’t that it’s an American version (because it most certainly wouldn’t be the first!) it’s just that it’s just so sudden.

Watch, I’ll be surprised and love it. Just right now it feels super weird to me.

I’m just worried that they made this change because they want to push a more ‘offcial’ Sherlock/Watson romance. And because it’s American television they wagged their finger at even hinting at homosexual tension.

I don’t know, I may be pulling things from my ass but that’s what has me most worried for this sudden announcement. I’d really hate to see them turn Sherlock into the same tripe I see on television regularly.

But who knows, I hope I am very very wrong :O
